Deterioration

Deterioration of building due to damaged roof includes damage to: tin ceiling and floor in auditorium; end of stage; wall separating classroom from auditorium and its blackboard; a cloak room floor; an tin ceiling downstairs.

Overhang over the front steps was removed during re-roofing due to deterioration.

Restoration

1.  Repair wall, floors, and tin ceilings   

2. Refinish all wood work

3. Repair plaster and interior painting

4. Renovate floor spaces on 1st and 2nd floors

5. Demolish toilet facilities and save bricks

6. Additional lighting

7. Renovate basement

8. Overhang repaired or replaced

Code Requirements

1. Elevator installed

2. Complete Rewiring

3. Relocate toilet facilities & add handicap facilities

4. Smoke detection and fire alarm system

5. Sprinkler system

6. Hand rails at front and rear of building

7. Air conditioner and heating system

8. Replacement of lower sections of exterior fire escapes
