FOUNDER: Louisiana State Arts Council. Worked with State Legislature to create agency;
CHAIRMAN- Search Committee to secure the first Executive Director; MEMBER- La. State Arts Council- appointed by Governor. Duties were screening and making recommendations on all grant applications.

FOUNDER: Arts Council of New Orleans as member of the Mayor’s Task Force on the Arts. CHAIRMAN- committee to establish the procedure and criteria for applying for arts grants from the City Council of New Orleans; CHAIRMAN- committee for screening and recommending funding for specific grants applications to the City Council; PRESIDENT: Arts Council of New Orleans

CONSULTANT 2003-thru 2005: US PEACE CORPS VOLUNTEER for the Salaj County Public Library, Zalau, Romania. Responsible for applying to various National and International Granting Organizations (UNESCO, RITI Access, US Embassy & State Department, AID, etc) and securing grant funds to assist the Library in upgrading and modernizing its programs and services. Researched grant opportunities, wrote grant application, managed the implementation of the grants, monitored the funds, and prepared the final reports.
